Polipark was established in 2009 and has began as a PR & Trade Market Research firm.  Over the past two years, we have grown into an international Trade Research company and a foreign trade consultant firm. 
Currently, We provide consulting services to Canadian companies who intend to branch out their business to Turkey or neighbouring countries.
Likewise, we also provide services to foreign companies who wish to become established in Canada.


Our Milestones ;
  • In October of 2010, The Turkish Trade Mission was organized by Polipark. Trade delegation led by Turkish State Minister Responsible for Foreign Trade, Mr M. Zafer Caglayan visited Toronto to meet with Canadian and Turkish business officials from several different sectors, varying from leather goods to food, medical devices to machinery. There were more than 100 bilateral one on one meeting with Turkish and Canadian business officials.

 

  • In May 2011, Polipark hosted the Turkish pavilion at SIAL Canada Food and Beverages exhibition in Toronto.

 

  • In May 2011 again, Polipark organized seminars and arranged the sites to visit for Concordia University Executive MBA students group who travelled to Turkey.

 

  • In October 2011, Polipark Inc will be attending the Tuskon Turkiye World Trade Bridge, an international Business Summit in Istanbul, Turkey. This week-long summit focuses on food, agriculture and fast moving consumer products such as cosmetics, personal hygiene products, small kitchen appliances, cookware, plastic bowls and cleaning products. Polipark will be meeting Turkish exporters as well as many other countries' business officials who will visit the event to discuss the business opportunities across Canada.


Our Founders

Polipark Inc, an international trade and market research consultancy company based in Oakville, Ontario, was co-founded by Timucin Gokdemir. Prior to establishing this company, Timucin graduated from Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul as a software engineer and earned a graduate degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University. He has over a decade of experience as a software developer in reputable software companies in Turkey. He has also worked as a Marketing Manager at one of the largest IBM reseller & distributor companies in Turkey.
Active on the Internet scene from the early 1990s, Timucin managed one of the first live Internet connection shows in Turkey in 1994.
Upon immigrating to Canada, he has remained active in IT, and worked at Thomson Reuters Inc. for seven years as a Software Developer and Project Leader, designing vertical applications for corporate record management needs, with a focus on large law firms.
Timucin writes weekly articles at Dunya Economic Newsletter in Turkey. The main focus of his articles is Business and Lifestyle issues in North America.  He is also a member of the board of the Turkish-Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
